Nestled in the heart of the British Virgin Islands, Wards Organic Goods and Poultry Farm was born from a simple belief: that families deserve to know exactly where their food comes from. What started as a small backyard flock on Tortola has grown into a thriving organic farm — but our values have never changed. We raise our animals with care, feed them clean, and bring the freshest eggs and poultry straight to your table.

How We Raise Our Hens

Our hens live the way chickens were meant to — free-range and outdoors, with room to roam, scratch, and forage under the Caribbean sun. We never use antibiotics, hormones, or synthetic feed additives. Our flock is fed a certified organic diet supplemented with natural greens and grains, resulting in eggs with rich, golden yolks and exceptional flavour.

We believe happy hens lay better eggs. That's why we prioritise low-stress environments, clean housing, and attentive daily care for every bird on our farm.

Our Hatchery

Hatching healthy chicks is both a science and an art. Our on-farm hatchery carefully selects fertile hatching eggs from our best-performing hens, maintaining strict temperature, humidity, and turning schedules throughout the incubation period. Each hatch is monitored closely to ensure strong, vigorous chicks.

Whether you're a backyard hobbyist or a small-scale farmer, our chicks and hatching eggs are raised with the same organic standards as everything else on our farm. We're proud to help grow the local poultry community across the BVI.

We are a proudly local business. Our farm is based on Tortola, BVI, and we're committed to serving our island community with fresh, honest food. We offer local delivery and pickup so you can get farm-fresh eggs and poultry without the long supply chain.

We also work with local restaurants and households who share our passion for quality, sustainability, and supporting homegrown agriculture in the Caribbean.
